UPDATE::: Extra tickets for EDCNY will be for sale for Saturday; Sunday and another day has been added. Friday May 18. Tickets for friday will cost 92$ (excluding tax) VIP: 158$ (excluding tax). They go on sale to the public on Thursday April 12 at 12pm.

The internet is exploding while Pasquale Rotella (The CEO of Insomniac @PasqualeRotella) tweets 140 characters per announcement. What is he saying? Lineups for both EDC Vegas and EDC NY! If you haven’t been on twitter, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? So far the lineups for both events looks promising. The Phase one lineup for EDC Vegas have people crying for tickets… and its just Phase one! Here is the video of the announcement.

In the Documentary “Nothing But The Beat”, Guetta says “I wanted to create a bridge between Europe and America,” and he did just that. You probably would not call them “DJ” since they produce songs more than the average mixing live. Deadmau5 feels offended if someone calls him “DJ.” To be well respected, you need to be more than just the average mix 2 songs together. You need to create songs and perform live. DJ Mag may not specify what do they mean by DJ but fans still voted in. French dance music star David Guetta has dismissed reports he’s working with Paris Hilton on a new track.

The socialite was rumoured to have teamed up with the producer for her upcoming album, but Guetta, who has previously collaborated with Rihanna and Kelly Rowland, insists he has not hit the recording studio with Hilton.

Speaking on Australia’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show, he says, “(It’s) absolutely not true. She came a few times to my night, F**k Me I’m Famous, in Ibiza and I think she really loved the party.

“I know she is working on a musical idea and maybe because some pictures of her at my night were taken (it became a rumour), but it’s not true.”

Paris wants to become the ‘queen of house music’

Paris Hilton is apparently in training to be “the most powerful female house music DJ of all time”.

The socialite has been shadowing new friends Deadmau5 and Afrojack and is planning to join Deadmau5 onstage in the near future. According to TMZ, Hilton is currently in Ibiza recording an album with David Guetta and is hoping to release the record by the end of this year. Continue reading →
